In line with it continued industrial relationship with financial giants and experts, the Executive Chairman of Imo State Internal revenue Service (IIRS), Justice Okoye, on Thursday played host to the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of FutureView Group, Mrs. Elizabeth Ngozi Ebi, in his office for a high-level strategic engagement.
Futureview Group is a leading Nigerian investment bank and financial advisory firm which does not have a physical brick-and-mortar branch in Imo State.
Business Hilights.ng recalls that the firm had previously acted as the arranger and financial adviser for the Imo State N40 Billion Bond Issue.
While there is no local office in Owerri, Imo residents can access their full suite of financial services—such as the Futureview Dollar Fund, stock trading, and corporate finance—directly via their headquarters in Lagos and digital platforms.
The meeting focused on exploring innovative partnerships, investment opportunities, and sustainable revenue-driven initiatives that will further strengthen the economic foundation of Imo State.
Speaking to journalists after the closed door meeting, Okoye revealed that “We had extensive discussions on leveraging private sector expertise, innovation, and best practices to support the ongoing reforms aimed at expanding the State’s revenue base and enhancing economic prosperity.
“The administration of Governor Hope Uzodimma has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to institutional reforms, economic transformation, and creating an enabling environment for businesses and investors to thrive. As the Executive Chairman of the Imo State Internal Revenue Service (IIRS), I remain resolute in translating this vision into measurable outcomes through strategic collaborations that deliver value for our people.
Okoye used the occasion to restate that “The Office of the Executive Chairman of the Imo State Internal Revenue Service remains open to partnerships, collaborations, investors, development organizations, and innovative institutions whose ideas and solutions align with our collective mission of strengthening Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), promoting transparency, driving digital transformation, and accelerating sustainable economic growth across Imo State.”
