The leadership of Africa’s largest motor spare parts shopping centre, the Auto Spare Parts & Machinery Dealers Association (ASPMDA), Lagos International Trade Fair complex on Badagry Expressway, has joined important personalities and well-wishers to wish former President and current Board of Trustees (BoT) Chairman, Chief Dr. D. C. Oforkansi (Ozo-Ebubedike, Ozo-Gidigbam Gidigbam Ndigbo) happy birthday today, April 14, 2026.
Business Hilights.ng recalls that Chief Dr. Oforkansi remains one of the key strategic former presidents of ASPMDA, who revolutionized infrastructure development in ASPMDA by building and commissioning facilities like the ASPMDA Hospital, ASPMDA Eye Clinic, ASPMDA Gate, ASPMDA Chapel, ASPMDA Conveniences, renovated ASPMDA hall and several other projects in a space of six years of his administration as ASPMDA President.
It is important to also recall that during the period under review in ASPMDA, he doubled as Chairman of Trade Fair Stakeholders Association (TFSA), the umbrella body for all the business associations in the Lagos International Trade Fair complex.
In a special birthday message, the current ASPMDA President, Hon. Ngozi Emechebe (Miri Oma n’Nnewi), thanked God for his life and health and described him as the president that revolutionized infrastructure development and governance in ASPMDA and the entire Trade fair in general.
Also speaking, High Chief Nonso Okafor (Akusinachi n’Nnobi), hailed Dr. Ofokansi and noted in a post in ASPMDA platform saying “Happiest Amazing Glorious Birthday To Our BOSS, Chief Dr. DC Ofokansi. Let’s Celebrate him it’s his Special Day . More Blessings to You Sir As you’re Added another Year Today . Hip hip hip Hurrah”.
The chairman of TFSA, Chief Eric Ilechukwu congratulated Chief DC Oforkansi on his new age and wished him good health, wellness, God’s guidance and prosperity.
