In view of the exceptional products displayed by Magnus Emenuga, the young and brilliant innovator who built a mobile phone which can communicate without a SIM card during the visit of the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex C. Otti, in the presence of the Honourable Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, the UNDP in Nigeria Representative, and other distinguished guests, favour to coming his way.
Already, Governor Alex Otti pledged his support for Magnus Emenuga, making the feats in Aba and owning the intellectual property.
Gov. Otti said “We will support our home grown businesses as China supported theirs.
Welcoming the Governor, Minister and the UNDP officials, Emenuga said “We had the opportunity to showcase some of our work, including the mobile phone we developed last year and our Smart Automatic Changeover System with built-in tamper protection, designed with the potential to integrate into modern power distribution systems such as APL Electric Company.
“We are grateful to Mr. Daniel Chinagozi and Mr. Tochukwu Clinton Chukwueke for their continued belief, recommendation, and support. We also appreciate Clare Ejehi- H. and the entire UNDP team for their guidance throughout the journey.
“Embedded Lab has all it takes and is ready to develop chips and Apps that can track electric meter-bypassers and other security innovations.
Responding, the Minister assured support of the federal government to help the Lab actualize its dream and manufacturing digital products for the nation’s digital economy.
