Dr.Polycap S.C Egwuonwu Fellow of Chartered Economists (FCE)
The Executive Council of Auto Spare Parts & Machinery Dealers Association (ASPMDA), Lagos International Trade Fair complex, has congratulated the former Secretary General, Dr. Polycap Egwuonwu, FCE, for being conferred with the prestigious status of Fellow of Chartered Economists (FCE) by the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria (ICEN).
The honours was conferred on him by the Board of ICEN led by the Group Director General/CEO: Prof Christopher Ominyofe Balogun, FCE+ on July 25th, 2026 at Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry building, Alausa, Lagos.
In the congratulatory message signed by the President of ASPMDA, Hon. Ngozi Emechebe and made available to Business Hilights.ng, the ASPMDA Executive Council said “We are happy to rejoice with you on your well-deserved honourary status of Fellow of Chartered Economists (FCE) of Nigeria which we see as a true reflection of who you are considering the height of your intellectual contributions to the growth of ASPMDA beginning from when you served as the Secretary General of the association under the administration of former President, Chief Dr. Johnson Dele Ofortube (Otu Ozo) till today.
“ASPMDA is proud of you sir”.
Ahead of the conferment, ICEN had sent a letter of the honour notification to Dr. Egwuonwu, captioned: ‘SPECIAL CONFERMENT OF FELLOW CHARTERED ECONOMISTS (FCE)’ and signed by Prof Christopher Ominyofe Balogun, FCE+, which read as follows;
