Former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, on Friday boarded an Air Peace Boeing 777-200ER flight from Lagos to London Gatwick, in another significant endorsement of Nigeria’s leading indigenous airline.
The elder statesman was warmly received at the Air Peace Premium Lounge at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, by Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace, Chief Allen Onyema, CON.
Welcoming the former president, Chief Onyema described it as a great privilege to host and fly the former Nigerian leader aboard Air Peace’s flagship international service to the United Kingdom.
He reiterated the airline’s commitment to delivering safe, reliable, and world-class air travel experiences while proudly connecting people, cultures, and destinations across Nigeria and beyond.
Chief Onyema later personally accompanied President Obasanjo to the aircraft before departure for London Gatwick.
The visit and flight further underscore the growing confidence in Air Peace’s international operations and its expanding role in projecting Nigerian excellence on the global aviation stage.
Indeed, the pictures tell the whole story.
