…As Fidelity Bank fulfils Pledge on New Waste Compactor Truck
Leading regional banking giant, Providus Bank has sealed an understanding with the Executives of Balogun Business Association (BBA) in Lagos International Trade Fair complex to redesign and build a new N250m storey building for security at the main entrance gate of the plaza.
This is as Fidelity Bank has fulfilled her pledge to donate a new waste compactor truck to ease environmental sanitation and management in BBA.
Speaking as a special guest at the commissioning legacy projects of the Executives of Rivers Cluster in BBA under Hon. Kenechuwku Obidigbo administration on Friday, President of the association, Chief Oscar Ikechukwu Paul Odogwu revealed that ahead of the multi-million naira storey building project by the bank, his administration has already secured a 10-year lease of the former banking hall of defunct Heritage Bank in the plaza for Providus Bank to begin operations very soon.
While noting that the bank will soon open for business in BBA, he disclosed that the bank’ Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Mr. Deoye Ojuroye currently overseeing Finance, Strategy, Technology, and Business Development in Providus Bank and his officials during their recent visit to BBA, shocked everyone by announcing a corporate social responsibility (CSR) donation of solar facilities at the Crèche inside BBA Secretariat for the lightening of the children’s classrooms, fan and other facilities for good learning environment.

Explaining more to Business Hilights.ng, Odogwu noted the bank is making the donation ahead of resuming banking services in the plaza and advised members to massively patronize Providus Bank as the bank has started delivering corporate social responsivities even before starting their business at the plaza.
Giving further insights on the advantages of the incoming Providus Bank, BBA President revealed that the bank has also agreed to design and build a world class water fountain at the BBA Founding Fathers Garden for beautification purpose and raising of environmental aesthetics in the plaza.
He added that already, Providus Bank has concluded arrangements to mass-produce digital ID cards for BBA members as soon as they start banking business in the plaza as a way of driving home their tailored custom-made banking services to members.
