It was harvest of legacy projects delivered by the Hon. Kenechuwku Obidigbo leadership in Rivers Cluster inside Balogun Business Association (BBA), Lagos International Trade Fair complex on Friday.
Addressing BBA President, Chief Oscar Ikechukwu Paul Odogwu and his Executives, Chairman of BBA Founding Fathers, Chief Steve Nwike (Tested OK), members of Rivers Cluster and well-wishers in his opening speech, Hon. Obidigbo thanked his members for their support over the years which he said, empowered him in thinking out of the box to come up with the life and business changing legacy projects in the cluster.

Some of the projects commissioned by the President of BBA included multiple iron steps built at strategic angles and parts of the cluster to enable seamless access to upstairs during business hours.
According to him, since his administration completed the steps, the value of shops upstairs has risen as many members now prefer to relocate their businesses upstairs hence access is no more an issue from any angle of the cluster.
The second legacy project is the roofing/covering of all inside open spaces in the cluster with both aluminum and transparent roofing sheets for maximum illumination during business hours. He disclosed that his government has already bought about 30 industrial fans that will be mounted within the roofed open spaces for ease of doing business both during sunshine and rainfall.

I was surprised that when we started donations for the purchase during one of our meetings, 15 members rushed and donated the N40m we used to buy it seamlessly.

On the usage timetable of the new generator, Obidigbo said it will started from 9:00am to 5:00pm from Monday to Saturday every week meaning that no more use of private generators by any shop in Rivers Cluster going forward.
He mentioned the 15 donors and the crowd appreciated them for their good hearts.
In his speech as the special guest of honour, excited BBA President, Chief Odogwu called on Hon. Obidigbo and told him one-on-one that his leadership intelligence has grown beyond Rivers Cluster, saying “time has come for him to seek for a bigger elective post in BBA, so that the entire BBA will gain from his wealth of leadership experience”.
Chief Odogwu thanked him for always thinking out of the box for his people in Rivers Cluster.

Aside the visitors, majority of Rivers Cluster members donated to the fueling fund for the new generator.
