The Executive Chairman of Imo State Internal Revenue Service (IIRS), Mr. Justice Okoye has given fresh insights on the definition of leadership in public service, saying “Leadership is not about promises, it is about measurable results that speak for themselves.”
Speaking in a public lecture, he stressed that “As the Chairman of the Imo State Internal Revenue Service (IIRS), I made a commitment from day one: to build a system that works, restore public confidence and deliver real value to Ndi Imo.
“Today, I am proud to begin a special video series showcasing key achievements recorded under my leadership not as a celebration of self, but as a reflection of what is possible when vision meets discipline, transparency and teamwork.
“This series will highlight:
- Strengthened revenue structures and improved compliance
- Strategic collaborations across critical sectors
- Digital innovations that enhance efficiency and accountability
- Capacity building and welfare improvements for staff
- Renewed focus on service delivery to the people
