The traditional ruler of Isi-Ihiteowerri community in Orlu LGA of Imo State, leading maritime mogul and chairman of FANO Group, HRM, Eze Damian Emeka Obianigwe, Ezeoha, Obi of Isi-Ihiteowerri has delivered his pledge of powering an integrated skill training programme for communities in his area.
The first phase of the Ihiteowerri Skill Acquisition & Character Education Programme (ISACEP), which started on Wednesday, April 8 will be rounded up today, Friday, April 10.
Explaining more to Business Hilights.ng in an exclusive interview, Eze Obianigwe said “Am bringing experts in enterprise skills to train our people in strategic skills that can help people to establish and have extra means of income to take care of their families.”
He revealed that the training and its associated kits are given to the trainees free of charge and they will be supported at the end of the training to start on their own in the villages. The aim is to grow rural and local economies.
Details form the training handling firm, AGPFI Vocational Training Institute showed that the training cut across Catering, Food Production & Beverage Processing Skills focused on food production, preparation, preservation, and service delivery.
