IIRS Chief, Okoye Chats Future with Transport Commissioner, Okonkwo

The Chairman of Imo State Internal Revenue Service (IIRS), Mr. Justice Okoye (FCA), recently played host to the Imo State Honourable Commissioner for Transport, Hon. Emeka Okoronkwo, to map out good future for the sector in the state.

In a media chat that followed the meeting, Okoye told Business Hilights.ng that “Today, I had a productive strategy meeting with the Honourable Commissioner for Transport, Hon. Emeka Okoronkwo, as we explored practical ways to strengthen revenue generation within the transport sector.

Okoye explained that “Our discussion focused on improving collaboration, enhancing compliance, and introducing more efficient and transparent systems that will benefit both the government and the people of Imo State.

Continuing, he made it clear that “I remain committed to building strong partnerships across key sectors as we continue to drive sustainable growth and improve our internally generated revenue for the development of our dear state”, saying “Together, we will build a stronger and more prosperous Imo.”
