The Department of Mass Communication of the prestigious Abia State University, Uturu has officially been upgraded its Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, with Dr. I.P. Madino serving as the Dean.

Broadcasting – Dr. Afulike
Film Production – Dr. Ada Ebenezer
Public Relations – Dr. Madumere Rose
Journalism and Media Studies – Dr. Okereke
Advertising – Dr. Dennis Omeonu
Accordingly, the National Universities Commission (NUC) is expected to visit imminently for accreditation, as preparations continue within the faculty.
