Nigerian South Africa-based Lawyer, Okafor Advises African Migrants on Safety

Leading legal luminary in South Africa and an Export of Obibi community in Orlu LGA of Imo State, High Chief Marcel Okafor has called on migrants in South Africa to try as much as possible to comply to the recent but serious unofficial threats of indigenes in leaving their country on or before June 30^th, 2026 for the sake of life.

In a verified social media post, Okafor wrote as follows;

“Dear African Migrants in South Africa,

“As 30 June 2026 draws near, I appeal to every one of you: please choose peace over confrontation, no matter the provocation. No disagreement is worth your life.

“If you have the means to relocate to another country or return home for your safety, please do so.

“Your life is precious, and your loved ones are waiting for you.

“May God protect us all. This too shall pass.
