The management and senior members of Auto Spare Parts and Machinery Dealers Association (ASPMDA), Lagos International Trade Fair complex, today in his Ekwereazu Village in Ogwa, Mbaitoli LGA of Imo State, gave its departed chairman of Founding Fathers, late Chief Victor Chukwuemeka Amadi a State burial with the association flag, the highest symbol of authority on his casket.
Speaking during the placing of the ASPMDA Flag on the casket, President of ASPMDA, Hon. Ngozi Emechebe described late Chief Amadi as strong member of the association and one that did his best for the growth and stability of ASPMDA.
In his emotion-laden speech, he said “We lost in Chief Amadi, a leader, an adviser, development planner, peace maker and conflict resolution expert in ASPMDA. He lived his life for the growth of ASPMDA and that is why we are here today to give a State burial. Go in peace, Chief Victor Chukwuemeka Amadi, our chairman of founding father before his passing away early this year.
Business Hilights.ng reports that after his interment and continuation of other funeral activities at the nearby school field, ASPMDA Executives, led by the Treasurer, Chief Cyril Anumba came back on the directive of the President to the family house for the final rites presentation to his family members.

Addressing the Umunna, Children and wife, Chief Anumba described death as a price everyone has to pay, saying Chief Victor Amadi has tried his best while on earth for the progress of humanity and ASPMDA in particular. He advised his family to be steadfast in God in all their activities. He prayed for the progress of the family and asked God to see everyone back their destinations after the funeral activities.
Amongst those with him during the presentation of burial rites of late Chief Amadi to his family included High Chief Nonso Okafor, Chief Welfare Officer of ASPMDA, Chief of Staff to the President, former ASPMDA Secretary, leader of Imo State association in ASPMDA, ASPMDA Financial Secretary, Chief Ikye Ezeh and many others.
Some of the rite items handed over to the bereaved family included an envelope, carton of wine, wrappers and other things.
It would be recalled that late Chief Amadi died earlier in January this year while ASPMDA had performed a befitting wake keep on his behalf in Lagos ahead of mass return for his burial today, June 27, 2026 in his country home, Ekwereazu Village in Ogwa, Mbaitoli LGA of Imo State.
