The new AI Centre donated by Leo Sta Ekeh Foundation to Holy Ghost College, Owerri, the alma mater of Dr. Leo Stan Ekeh
Leading serial techpreneur and Chairman of TD Africa and Zinox Technologies, Dr. Leo Stan Ekeh, donated a complete new building furnished with digital facilities and latest technology infrastructure for the learning of AI and allied digital education to his Alma mater, the Holy Ghost College, Owerri, the Imo State capital.
Speaking during the celebration organised by the Holy Ghost College Owerri Old Boys Association, the globally renowned technology entrepreneur made it clear that whereas he has no political ambition, “I am not a politician. If I wanted to become Governor of Imo State, I would have done so long ago. Even my village house was built with that possibility in mind. But I cannot be everything. I chose my path, and that path is not politics.”

Explaining more during the commissioning of the state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence (AI) Computer Centre, valued at over ₦500 million, Ekeh averred that the centre is designed to enhance digital learning and technological advancement in the state and College in particular.
Business Hilights.ng reports that the commissioning of the AI Computer Centre which was by Lucius Ugorji, the Archbishop of the Owerri Metropolitan Province, attracted several distinguished old boys and dignitaries, including Dr. Anselem Opara, Martins Uchenna Nwankwo, Prof. Anthony Okere, among others.
The occasion was widely described as a celebration of excellence, philanthropy, and commitment to educational development in Imo State.

Aside the new AI Centre he built at Holy Ghost College, the Leo Stan Ekeh Foundation (LSEF), which is currently receiving entries from University technology students across the federation for a new wave of scholarship for 1,000 tech students, has built and furnished technology laboratories in many Nigerian ivory towers.
