In keeping with its policy of carrying taxpayers along on every policy commencement, the management of the Imo State Internal Revenue Service (IIRS) has announced to the general public, stakeholders, transport operators, and haulage service providers that the Consolidated Haulage fee Initiative, introduced by the Joint Revenue Board (JRB), will officially commence on the 1st of June, 2026 in Imo State.
The statement made it clear that “This initiative is aimed at enhancing coordination, efficiency, compliance, and seamless haulage operations.
It therefore advised “All concerned parties are advised to take note and ensure full cooperation and compliance as implementation begins.”
