In line with the constitutional provisions of the Association of Nigerian Tyre Marketers (ANTM), owners of Africa Tyre Village (ATV), Lagos International Trade Fair complex, the newly elected executives was sworn on Thursday, June 25, 2026 for a fresh tenure in the plaza.
The event which started with national anthem gave several important personalities chances to speak and comment on the generation of good leadership in ATV leading to the swearing in of officers and the handing over of their certificate of return by the independent electoral committee chairman, Hon. Innocent IK Odoh.

In his acceptance speech on behalf of other elected executives, the new president, Hon. Okechukwu Ezeifeoma thanked every member of ANTM in Africa Tyre Village and assured to continue the good works of the former President, Alhaji Isah Akanbi Mohammed, whom he served as his vice.
Ezeifeoma said “I will continue the good works of Alhaji Mohammed and bring dividends of democracy that will grow our plaza from strength to strength with the cooperation of everyone.”
He said he will run open door policy and will always listen to every member and stakeholder for the growth and development of the plaza with his executives.

Earlier in his speech at the inaugural ceremony, the former President, who midwifed the building of the plaza from their initial location in Eno-owa, Lagos Island, thanked the members for their endless support and loyalty from 2006 they started the plaza till date.
Alhaji Mohammed, who took time to marshal his accomplishments as a leader in the plaza took time to thank the ED/CEO of the complex, Mrs. Barr. Vera Ndanusa for her administrative intelligence that has powered unprecedented developments in the complex in less than four year.
He also thanked the Chairman, Lagos International Trade Fair Complex Stakeholders Association, Chief Eric Ichechukwu and entire members of the stakeholders for the oneness in the association which has saved the complex from several matters of urgent interests.

He further thanked President of various Association and Plazas, Elders of our Union (Association of Nigeria Tyre Marketers). Your Royal Highnesses Chief Jimoh Raheem Agbebeji Baale of Soba Land, Chief Sunday Ojukwu Igwe of Amuwo Odofin.
He also thanked the President Igbo Amaka Traders Union Honorable Chinedu Ukatu, members of Igboamaka Traders Union here present, his co- members of outgoing Executive Board of ATV, incoming president and members of his team, chairmen and managers of various block in Africa Tyre Village, Chairmen and members of various committees.
He was very thankful to God for making the very first leadership transition in the association to be colourful to the happiness of everyone.

He added in emotion-laden terms that “Today will stand out in my history, I’m very happy for and proud of myself for paddling the canoe of this great union through the storm and today sailing peacefully to the shore. All glories to Almighty Allah (God) for his guidance and blessings,” this was followed with massive applause.
Though the event was blessed with showers of rain, several important personalities graced the occasion including the chairman of stakeholders, Chief Eric Ilechukwu, the new president of UASPDA, Hon. Tony Bright and his Vice, officials of Tools and Hardware Association, Chairman/Secreatry of NATA and many others.
