Providing insights on his social media page recently, the Executive Chairman of Imo State Internal revenue Service (IIRS), Mr. Justice R. Okoye (FCA) said “Many people see the title, but few see the responsibility behind it”.
He argued in a poetic format that “Behind every meeting, policy discussion, and decision is a commitment to building a more efficient revenue system that supports the growth and development of Imo State. Beyond the Office Desk: Serving Imo, One Decision at a Time.
“Behind every meeting, every policy discussion, and every strategic plan lies a simple goal: to create a better future for Ndi Imo.
“Public service is more than occupying an office it is about making decisions that drive development, improve systems, and create opportunities for our people.
“Today was another productive day of engaging with stakeholders, reviewing key initiatives, and exploring innovative ways to strengthen revenue administration and support the growth of our dear state.
“The progress we seek is built on daily commitment, collaboration, and a shared vision for a prosperous Imo State.
“As we continue this journey, our focus remains on transparency, efficiency, and delivering results that positively impact the lives of our people.
In conclusion, Okoye noted that “Every day presents a new opportunity to serve. Every decision is an opportunity to make a difference.”
