The management of the Imo Internal Revenue Service (IIRS), has announced an employment window; one for each of the over 600 communities in the state to serve as officer in charge/agent for the One Community, One Revenue Agent (OCORA) initiative. The job is clearly for ONLY ONE PERSON in each of the communities in the state.
Business Hilights.ng recalls that Imo State is officially divided into 27 Local Government Areas (LGAs), which are further subdivided into well over 600 officially recognized autonomous communities.
An advertisement placed by IIRS management encouraged interested applicant to “Become an OCORA agent today”.
“The Imo State IIRS introduces OCORA, one Community, one revenue agent, a platform designed to make tax payment easy and accessible for the informal sector through the pay small-small initiative.
